Nettan and Bill escaped from the Swedish winter for a holiday in the
Seychelles in February 2001. Hence this postcard:
Relaxing beyond belief! Wonderful underwater world. Seen turtles, sharks,
rays, lots of beautiful coloured coral-fishes and lots and lots more. Since
it's 29 - 30°C on land we spend most of the time in the water, diving,
snorkelling, and bathing, but it's 28°C in the water as well no matter the
depth! Been deep sea fishing. Bill got 2 smaller fishes (1.5 - 2 kg) and
Nettan got the big one. A kingfish (also called wahoo) at approx. 12 - 15 kg.
We had a part of the kingfish grilled for dinner. Delicious! We've been for
day tours to Aride and "the three islands" (Cousin, Curieuse, and St Pierre)
to see bird life and giant tortoises.
